Privacy policy
Version 1.0. Draft prepared for legal review, not yet in force.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it. It follows the Montenegrin Law on Personal Data Protection and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is STUDIO UNIVERSUM d.o.o., with its registered seat in Podgorica, Montenegro. Full company details are on the Company details page. You can reach us about any privacy question at hello@studiouniversum.com.
We have not appointed a data protection officer
We are not required to appoint one: we do not process personal data on a large scale, we do not monitor anyone systematically, and we process no special categories of data. Privacy questions go to the address above.
What we collect
From the contact form: your name, email address, company name, the budget range you select and the text of your message. From our server logs: IP address, time of request, page requested, browser and operating system version. If you write to us by email, we hold whatever that message contains.
Why we collect it, and on what legal basis
Enquiry data is processed to answer you and to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Server logs are processed in our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. Once a contract exists, we process contact and billing data to perform it and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
We do not track you
This site sets no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, loads no third party trackers and runs no social media pixels. Only technically necessary storage is used, and it requires no consent. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Who else sees your data
Our hosting provider and our email provider, each acting as our processor under a written data processing agreement, and our accountant where an invoice is involved. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Where your data is stored
Our providers store data on servers in the European Economic Area. If a provider transfers data outside it, that transfer rests on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses, and you can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to a contract is deleted twelve months after our last exchange. Contract documentation and invoices are kept for the period required by Montenegrin accounting and tax law. Server logs are kept for ninety days.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, for processing to be restricted, and for a copy in a portable format. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting what was lawful before.
How to use those rights
Write to hello@studiouniversum.com. We answer within thirty days. We may ask you for information that lets us confirm who you are, and we will not use that information for anything else.
If you are not satisfied
You may complain to the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information of Montenegro. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
No automated decisions
We make no decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you.
Children
This site addresses businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to enquiries is limited to the people who answer them, and our providers are chosen for their own security commitments. No measure is perfect, and we will tell you and the Agency about a breach that is likely to put your rights at risk.
Changes
When this policy changes we publish the new version here with a new version number and date. Material changes are also announced on the home page for a month.
